I was able to hike a short section of the Elk Trail this morning. It is beautiful weather and brilliant leaves right now. The normal presence of squirrels and chipmunks and their chatter was heard along the way as well as woodpeckers and Blue Jays. I was able to make a loop out of the hike, which I always like...
