You gotta grab these t-shirt weather days in November and take a couple hours to go for a hike. Today I went up Shaffer Draft Road, caught the Elk Trail that runs with Thunder Mountain Equestrian Trail for a little and came back down Shaffer Draft Road to Belle Draft Road.
I came across some deer and elk tracks and a few bear tracks in the dried up mud. Enjoyed the lingering bronze color of fall! Most of the hike was on dirt road but it was gated and no traffic. I saw a flock of turkeys just after I got to my vehicle.
